Oh my sweet Carolina...

It is so oppressively hot in Texas right now. Record heat yesterday in Beaumont and Houston. Oh... my gosh. I can't handle the heat. There's no rain. It's an "exceptional drought" around here. Wildfires raging in east Texas.. where's the rain??

So we spent the entire evening in the pool. It was wonderful. I can't remember the last time I went swimming in our backyard. Probably a crawfish boil last year or something.
Tomorrow it's back up to Fort Worth and then on to London.. then Uganda.. and then South Sudan!
