eating dinner with Kathryn and Leah at Spiral Diner tonight. the Spiral Diner is completely vegan--my "bacon cheeseburger" was actually very delicious but probably not the solidity i needed with this stomach bug. ah well. after Spiral, we headed across the street to the Chat for two dollar beers with the Night Riders. they had a good turnout for tonight's fitness ride, some 25 miles. we will probably join them next week.

so, yeah, pretty fucking sick of spending my free time on the john. tomorrow, all steak and all cheese. fuck vegetables.

oh yes, then over to University of Texas at Arlington for my first advising appointment with Dr. Morris in the PhD English program. mind-bogglingly, sphincter-tighteningly (irony, yes) exciting. or something akin to that. one o' clock, professor. too strange to imagine that in three years students could be calling me doctor.
