It was one of those days when I wasn't going to get much further than pointing the camera over the back wall. It rained all day, and here's a thick bank of Nimbostratus kissing the top of the moor to prove it.

The greyness of the day hasn't brought out how the moor seems to have changed colour in the week we've been away, with the new growth bracken now tall enough to drown out the rust brown carpet of last year's growth. The 18th fairway in the middle ground is looking a bit parched though, one benefit being that the impressions of the filled in bell-pits emerge more clearly.

I've made a bit of progress with my holiday back blips, with Marshmallow Coast and Breezy Beach. You may detect a theme emerging...
