The finished ship

This is just a couple of quick shots of Jason's finished pirate ship for his school project. Not bad going for some cereal boxes and printer paper, even if I do say so myself. It ended up being a team effort or else it would have never been finished. I had hoped to add a lot more detail but time ran out.

Once again, is this sort of project really meant for a six-year-old? Teachers must know when they allocate these projects, along with the normal mountain of homework the kids already have, that the parents will end up doing most of the work.
