Big Hill

Layers!

It's been a very low key day....raining, cool - it rained so heavily last night that the remainder of my tomato plants, sitting in little cups, in larger plastic trays......were floating in about 2" of rain...they are very soggy little plants, and i hope they survive! they are the left over ones i want to give to friends!

Terry has been busy making a sign for the bottom of the hill to let folks know that there is a pottery up here - i spent the afternoon reading a bit of Otis's book and then made a delicious smelling curry whilst listening to the cd of his music....it was truly an uplifting experience! Talk about fusion...Scottish woman, in a Maritime kitchen, listening to a collection of Cape Breton musicians playing Celtic music....whilst making an Indian curried dish...Kema Matar.....now that's cross culture don't you think! I love the fact that dinner is already cooked and filling the house with such amazing aroma's that my mouth is watering.

Took myself off for a blip walk....and was very taken by the layered effects of all these twigs and small branches....made more intriguing after all the rain!

Now the basmati rice just needs to be cooked and we'll be sitting down to dinner very soon!
