Paperdoll Debris

By jesafly

for my pa

Today, as it is Father's Day here in the UK, I have taken a photo in honour of my papa, waipushrink, who first taught me how to use a camera - his old Pentax K1000.

As he does love his sunset photos (although as his runs are so early in the morning, they're often sunrises these days), I thought I would take a sunset photo over the Thames for him. I've tried to mimic his compositional style, including the light on the water, the buildings and bridge, and the heron on the river's edge. There are also two planes (one very faint and blurred) headed to Heathrow and one bird in flight silhouetted against the clouds.

I hope you approve Pa x.
