Sgwarnog: In the Field

By sgwarnog

Scarborough, Fair

a fair wind blowing
waves brought safely to the shore
prayer flags on the beach

Holiday: Day 6

North to Scarborough, which I hadn't visited properly since I spent a week long Geography field trip there in my student days.

We spent the morning in the Peasholm Park, feeding the squirrels, and admiring the Japanese garden.

We then took the miniature steam train to the end of North Bay, played crazy golf, and said our farewell to the beach.  I grew up on the coast, and until moving to Bradford have always lived within a few miles of the sea, so it's with some reluctance that I leave it again.
