Picnic spot

Didn't have a huge amount of time for lunch but I managed to grab a sandwich and my bike and headed over to the North side of Burray.

The foot of the wind turbine might not be an obvious spot for a picnic but it's just far enough to feel you've gone somewhere and you do get the most fabulous view.

It was very noisy, not the turbine (it's just a steady whirr, whirr a bit like breathing), no it was the gulls and oystercatchers that were making a huge racket. Probably because there were a pair of bonxie's attacking them, so it's fair enough I guess. Then the sheep joined in for some bizarre reason.... I took the hint and headed homeward.
