Killer evening

Got the early train into London this morning and met up with some good friends for a day in Hyde Park for 'Hard Rock Calling', a day that marked The Killers's return to the UK after a two year absence (though they did two last minute warm ups before tonight). Also on the bill were The Kaiser Chiefs and James. The heavens opened around tea time and by the time The Killers arrived on stage just before 9pm, we were all soaked the skin and numbed to the bone. Forgot about all that for 90 minutes though with a superb set full of Brandon jiggles, all the hits, a very moving version of 'Moon River' and more pyrotechnics and ticker tape than you can shake a stick at. Wonderful :))
