Pelican Eye

I was going to go to the wetlands but called in first to Carrington boat ramp. I have been there before. It is where the lazy pelicans hang out begging for fish guts and other delicacies. I have stuffed the ISO on this image (must have twiddled it in the bag without realising) but the camera sort of copes with it so the image is not too grainy.

I found it hard to chose between the eye or the flight see here. The eye shows you if you look large the wonderful delicate feathers and the folds in the bill. An amazing bird. Needless to say, I never made it to the wetlands...
