Happy Anniversary

Wow - this is amazing in a strange and beautiful way:

I got this sage plant last year - it was a party favor at a friend's wedding, and strangely enough, it somehow survived the winter and severe neglect.

And now it has decided to bloom!

Why is this so special?

The wedding was on March 31st of last year, and the sage has decided to produce its first open flower today, exactly one year later!

All I can say is: Happy 1st Anniversary, Kate and Tommy :-))

(Somehow I now feel that I can never, ever let this sage die!!!!)
