I don't usually think to myself when I look at my own photographs & ponder perhaps I should paint this, exactly this, copy the photo... usually my paintings are memories of scenes such as this all rolled into one. But there's something truly remarkable about this, the light, it was so uplifting (a pity the wind was so cold!) - strange July this is, the SE are baking, yet the SW are shivering! Sunny yes, but temperature below average for this time of year!
