Corduroy Field

Stopped on the way back from a calving when I spotted this newly cut silage field looking remarkably like a piece of old carpet that I used to use as a field when I was playing with my toy tractors. The farmer told me that his bailer broke down today, not what you want with a field full of cut silage in a year when the grass is barely growing anyway.
