Great British Summer

I was cycling through the City of London today. When I set out from home, it was sunny and warm. Within a couple of hours, dark clouds had gathered and it started to rain.

I noticed this wonderful Union Flag just near Liverpool Street station, and thought it made a lovely colourful contrast against the typical British summer sky. Note the TINY little bit of blue sky in the bottom left as if to hint at what we may get after the clouds have gone - I suppose we should be grateful for small mercies huh?

Oh and yes - once I got home (after getting wet) the cloud cleared, and the sun came out.
