It's a Fair Copper

Best Viewed Large

Down to RHS Rosemoor again, just to show my Dad the fields of wildflowers they've planted, it truly is magical right now:

From carpets of ox-eye daisies

To thousands of greater knapweed amongst hawkbit, nipplewort, birds foot trefoil, betony, buttercups, yellow rattle, meadow cranesbill etc Butterflies danced above, meadow browns, ringlets, common blues & small coppers, which this photo portrays. I didn't want to trample over the flowers to get a closer shot & sometimes further off shots which includes the grassland gives more depth. The sun was so bright today, everything looked so unreal, as the greater knapweed photo shows, but still that cold biting wind which unfortunately lowered the temperature, so still coat wearing season!

Thanks to all the comments & stars from yesterdays & the spotlight too, think that's 7 days running & a record for me! I feel very honoured to be amongst such fantastic photographers & people! (note how the photographers came first...!) xxx
