It's Wednesday again

.........and on Wednesday the Haltwhistle walkers go for a long or a short walk, whatever the weather (and have a great time!) Today started fine but the showers that came were very heavy. Waterproofs were on and off and on and off.

The circular route, from Low Row near Lanercost, was through farmland and woodland. The views were lovely;the nettles were a problem for those of us in shorts. When will be find a leader who can knock all the nettles down as they go ahead!!?

We were very wet by the end, but agreed we had had a great day, as usual.
