Fleißig wie eine Biene

or "busy as a Bee" to give the English translation. Managed to spend a lot of today trying to learn more German to the extent I didn't notice the time until it was nearly four. Utterly absorbed in it.

I think this was a displacement activity to block out how fed up I am of people in agencies who say they will be in touch and never are. That kind of rudeness just sticks in my craw. So for all of them - I hope they have a rotten weekend. Not in a majorly bad way - just low level irritation all weekend so that they get to Monday with no clean pants or socks and a bank card that doesn't work and the discovery that they've left their keys on the bus/train.

Which puts me in mind of a question - why is it "on the the bus/train/plane" but "in the car" or "in a taxi"? Possibly you can see how my days are so easily filled.

I need no excuses to Blip cornflowers but given that this has the added attraction of a bee, it was the obvious choice for today. View it in large to get an idea of how big the bee was really.

Today's Song is from Bheja Fry 2 which is out and not making many waves. I liked Bheja Fry (and the original French film it was based on - Le Dîner de Cons) and would be interested in the sequel. I like the video for this quite a bit.
