Circle of the Seasons

Three Lilies

Hiding in the shadows, there they are. Each one the picture of a single perfect day.

Their peach petals waft the scent of summer, sweet and exotic. A dusky memory of white shoulders in the moonlight, the sheen of silk, a kiss.

Next will come the stargazers, the orientals. Their pods unfurl and invite us inside to follow the trail of dots and dashes deeper, deeper, into the very heart of pink.
