THE HIDDEN ENGINEER

Yesterday and a few days ago I put up " the killing fields " and "WHACK"
pictures of Kingfishers belting the hell out of poor crabs.

Following those pix. there were a couple of requests to show a picture of the HIDE the birds were taken from.

Well you saw it here first folks! - Unfortunately for 'Otago Lad' this is not a self portrait but one of the same hide containing no less than the famous "engineer " spoken often about in " Image Hunters " blips.

This pic has some interesting aspects - the engineer did not know he was being photographed - as I just happened along - purely by chance as Mrs poo and I were having a day out on bird Reconnaisance Patrol (true!) - I only had my point and shoot.

We joined up with the Engineer ( having a good laugh ) and pointed him in a different direction towrds the " killing fields " where he had a super time in his hide capturing Kingfishers " whacking " Well done RD. reward for your efforts.
