No, not that.

Last week, new facilities opened at Glentress Forest near Peebles, so we went up (I confess, in the car) to have a look. Mainly for the hundreds of thousands of mountain bike visits to Glentress each year - now reckoned to be one of the very best places in the world for mountain biking - the new buildings include a bike shop, orientation centre, showers and loos, and a new cafe.

These are beautiful, elegant timber buildigns, using only Douglas Fir from this forest and designed to be very energy efficient, but by using passive technology rather than lots of complex controls. The standard of timber workmanship is very high, as this pic shows.
