Wooden Spoons

We had about fifteen people round today for a garden party. We had both put a lot of work into the garden and K had put a lot of work into the food.

Two years ago, we had bought a stack of wooden, environmentally friendly, recyclable cutlery (for our wedding party, I think). Whilst the wooden spoons are much admired, it seemed slightly bizaare that they turned up wrapped in tons of polystyrene and bubble wrap. One can but try....

Today was a scorcher; possibly the hottest day we've had this year, so everyone was happy.
