Red sky in the morning

... shepherd's warning!

The day dawned red
and, like the weather man said,
it's raining.

This was the sky at 4.30a.m. - before the rain kicked in.
(Couldn't sleep!)

By 7.30 a.m. I was getting out of the bath to the smell of baking banana loaf drifting from the oven. Mmmm - I should get up early more often!
