Slapton Sands

Run along the seashore holding hands
At Slip-Slop-Slapton Sands

Skim a pebble, jump the waves
Build a ring of standing-stones
Throw a Frisbee, fly a kite
Listen to the seagulls' moans
Have a paddle, take a dip
Spot a Dartmouth naval ship

Run along the seashore holding hands
At Slip-Slop-Slapton Sands

poem © Celia Warren 2011

In between heavy showers, it's a glorious sunny day, though very windy. Couldn't resist this wondrous mix of sky, sea and sand.

Many thanks again for all the kind comments yesterday - I really can't claim the credit - that sky was the work of Mother Nature; all I did was point and click. Same goes today. Nevertheless, 'twas exciting and gratifying to hit the spotlight page two days running.
