Sunshine!

After a long day's travelling yesterday (during which none of us took any photos!), today was the first full day of our holiday in the beautiful resort of Cala'n Bosch in Menorca.

Yesterday we did the drive from Scotland down to Manchester airport in the morning, followed by our flight to Mahon airport (only 2hrs 15 mins), followed by a long bus trip to the resort itself - we didn't arrive till about half ten or eleven at night. It was roasting! The kids were still awake by this point, so we went out for a stroll, and bought the necessary items for breakfast, and some ice-cold beer for us grown-ups... :-)

A long lie for us all this morning - here is wee C enjoying the morning sun in her PJs on our gorgeous terrace overlooking the marina. Very swish! I know this photo is totally over-exposed, but I love it - it just sums up the intense brightness of the sunshine and the heat of the morning.
