Mom

This is my mom.  

The love of my life.  My best friend.  I can't imagine life without her.

We don't know how long we will have our parents (I'm very fortunate), so we must treasure and honor them while they are still with us.


I love this picture, not only for mom's million dollar smile :)
...but for the reflection behind her of the daunting black skies over the mountains.  Very ominous and scary!!

I doubt anything will become of the dry lightning we were seeing.  Those storms usually just hug the north-south route of the mountains.
