No Tall Ships.......

...but Wide Ships.

Was working in Glasgow today, so at lunchtime took a trip down to Greenock, hoping to get some pics of the tall ships that had arrived for the weekend's Tall Ships event.

However although there were two of the larger boats docked, security would not let me in to photograph them , in spite of my pleading.
"It's more than my job's worth hen!" said the security guard, "But I'll let you see it on the CCTV camera....."

Marvelous.

Oh well, and I'm working all this weekend so I won't be able to go down for the main event.

However, stopped at Newark Castle on the way back, and walked down to the shore where I caught this rather wide ship.

At least it's a ship, right?
