While waiting to be picked up after spending an hour and half in my kayak, I spotted this post guarding the entrance to the beach. It showed the effects of constant salt air as well as more than one yellow paint job. I was sitting on the shady side, but found the sunny side to be more dramatic. The strong side light created some great contrast and definition.
