Study

I spent some time today in study with Ansel Adam's book 2 in his series titled "The Negative"; then I worked to create an image with a range of black to white like that represented by the 0-10 Zone system. I realize I cannot practice the Zone system with my Canon G12 as there is no way to override its excellent features. However, I can be more mindful in composition and light so as to best incorporate in the final image what the Range system is meant to help you create in the negative and later the darkroom.
