Day 39 - The Rain in Spain, Again

Well, are we glad that we booked a hotel for the last few nights of our holiday. It has poured all day. Luckily we decided to take the car this morning rather than walk, because even with waterproofs and umbrellas we would have been soaked. We visited the Museo de Altamira, a reconstruction of Paleolithic caves where 18,000-year-old paintings were discovered, paintings that went on to influence much of 20th century art.

No photography permitted in the museum, so here is a familiar view from our hotel room - rain in the car park.
