Sea Urchin

Today felt like summer. Murron and I went to Amisfield Garden and weeded the morning away. We came home laden with cherries, strawberries and raspberries.

It was Diana's birthday, so we made some strawberry whoopie pies and drove to Edinburgh to deliver them with her present. We had a lovely afternoon, although Murron lost the use of her voice and remained mute for most of the visit.

Back home Rowan had returned from seeing some friends, Roo had managed to open the larder door and eat a whole tin of cat food and Sam had not walked doggo. Rowan and I took him up into the fields in the late evening - it was beautiful looking back to the cottages silhouetted by the sun.
