"Terning" on a blue sky day

Lovely afternoon, not too windy, and a full tide, so the terns were coming in to land and rest. Not that they were getting much rest as a woman with 2 dogs let them chase the birds twice (even though she could see I was taking photos.) So I tried to talk to her (as always) and she just took no notice whatsoever!!

Told me they were seagulls and a pest! Gave up, some people you can't get through to.

How you could not see the beauty of these birds amazes me, even if you aren't interested in birds as such.

I love these birds and love taking photos of them, often taking lots and lots and not getting even one I'm happy with, but still enjoying myself watching them!
