Sunny Side Up

My favorite place for breakfast. This popular restaurant serves only breakfast and lunch. It is decorated with all kinds of chickens and this beautiful tile floor. And it it efficient - the waitress delivers the check with the second cup of coffee.

Did not get to have breakfast until 10 am today because I had been fasting for 12 hours before a 9:15 am blood draw for an upcoming physical exam.

Boy, about age 15, at next table had the perfect breakfast for a kid his age. First was an omelet, then a plate french fries - with catsup, followed by pancakes. He is as tall as his dad and still very slim. Dad said that his son is very active and needs the food for growth.

Delivered 210 newspapers today, a monthly project to raise money for our bike club. About 30 bicyclists deliver about 5,000 papers. In the summer we are short handed because people travel North and elsewhere, so some of us handle two routes. My regular route is 125 papers in our own neighborhood and it takes about an hour.
