Everyday I Write The Book

The case of the pear in the sombrero

We've had the Big Mexican Hat in the office all week, thanks to George who bought it in and then left it on the top of our desk partitions. It has been photographed on various heads amidst many jolly japes and given us all a lot of pleasure. So when someone gave me a rustic pear I thought that putting the fruit in the BMH would make a good blip.

It would also make a surreal detective story if anyone wants to write it.

I actually drove from Gatwick to Leatherhead today through beautiful country lanes and passed more than one blip-opp (including a rather magnificent shire horse scoffing the grass) but the trouble is that narrow roads and hedgerows without anywhere to pull over can be very frustrating for the amateur photographer. There should be special dispensation for us to stop even if it causes an obstruction.
