Small Copper

We seldom get many small coppers on the lowland heath and they tend to be very flighty so quite difficult to photograph. I was up and about very early this morning so I suspect this one was still quite drowsy.

Sweet pea update: although hot and sunny the wind is getting up and its supposed to rain hard later tonight and most of tomorrow. I've decided to cut the sweet peas in the next two or three hours to be on the safe side and then decide which ones to enter for tomorrow's show.
