Tour of Homes in Bend

Today was yet another wonderful day and it is not over yet - we are just taking a break inside, out of the heat of the day before we go for an outdoor swim!

We did the same walk as yesterday morning up the Deschutes river and hoped to see the Belted Kingfisher, Tawee and Osprey that we had seen yesterday. The kingfisher was in the exact same spot when we arrived but then decided to fly off and give us the run around. No ospreys and one possible Towhee sighting as it flew off into the trees. Another beautiful day and we had a delicious picnic lunch by the river once we finished walking.

Then we got to look at some new houses in Bend Tour of Homes. This is when builders put their latest new homes on display and you can get a peek at what's new and fancy in a whole range of houses priced from $160,00 to $1,000,000! In this one that you get a blip of, you see the living area. It is decorated in NW Pacific style and was in the middle price range. A great way to spend a few hours wandering around homes that you could never afford!

Better go and look out my swim suit and brace myself for 80 degrees out there!
