Floodlit

Mum and Rory have arrived to stay for a few days in the bourach. After a marvellous dinner cooked by Fred, we went for a walk. This also killed time whilst the banana cake was baking in the oven. Our feet took us to Streatham Common and Norwood Grove, where a whole flocks of swifts were soaring in graceful arcs above our heads below a double rainbow. (I only captured one swift in the rainbow, but really there was a whole flock!) The sky threatened a downpour amongst the light show, but luckily (because we'd forgotten our umbrellas) we escape a drenching. The rain seemed to be moving south towards Croydon.

At home, we scoffed hot banana cake and played Jenga. Fun!
