Bideford Bridge

This Bridge is always a favorite of mine, none of the arches are the same size, no it didnt go wrong its designed that way.

Its spans the Torridge and it has 24 arches but you cant see them all in my picture.
It was originally a pack horse bridge built of wood then it was replaced by a stone bridge that was built at an angle probably to strenghten it there are 2 chapels either end, one is St Mary the Virgin the other is All Saints.
Funnily enough I cant remember which this one is, but its also attached to the Library and a beautiful building it is too.
