Abandoned Home?

I'm terrified of spiders and small spaces. In fact, if you put me in a small space with a spider, I am quite sure I'd die of fright! But, I am fascinated with the architecture of spider webs. This one appears to have been abandoned and I wonder if one of my little hummingbirds perhaps picked off the hapless owner of this web. This web is carefully constructed between the support poles of our glider chair so every day when I sit there with my morning tea, I see it. This particular morning it had tiny drops of rain clinging to the delicate web.
