Cakes!

We all headed to gorgeous Dot's house after work tonight to partake of her wonderful cakes. Dot's granddaughter Ruby died of leukaemia some years ago, she was just four years old. Dot bakes her cakes in support of Ruby's charity which funds research into the condition.

It was a lovely end to the day, catching up with old friends and indulging in deliciousness. Later, after tea at Jean's house, we met at the Boathouse to celebrate Alison's new job - more old friends and happy times remembered. That's Jeanneb53 in the doorway with a glass in her hand. She has taken a much more scrumptious blip of the cakes!

Counting down to retirement from teaching now, one and a half days!
