The Untrained Eye

Aran Fawddwy

I hope I spelt that right! It's a nearly 3000 footer in North Wales still complete with it's now out of date Trig Point. A real pig of a mountain with a walk straight up and the straight down on difficult terrain with no space for strolling. It took the Llanidloes Wednesday Walkers seven hours, and for my record, it's as hard as Cader Idris one of the UK's best mountains ,and I really enjoyed it. Sadly Richard one of the group's older members said it was his last high walk. I think he meant it.
