Crosthwaite House

Today's the day ................. for a sleepover

Went for supper this evening with Sam and Tiree - and the family. Tiree was the person who introduced me to blipfoto. A few months ago, they took over the running of Sam's parents guesthouse in the lovely village of Crosthwaite, not far from Kendal.

They said why didn't we just stay the night in one of the guest bedrooms - and we thought that sounded like a brilliant idea. So here we are - being very well looked after and feeling as if we are on holiday.

This is Summer helping Will to finish a jigsaw before she has to go off to bed .................

PS Update after breakfast:
This is one seriously classy Bed & Breakfast and the breakfasts are to-die-for! Lovely, comfortable house, dating back to the mid 1700s and with views over the Lyth Valley to the Lakeland fells beyond. Anyone who follows Tiree's journal will know how artistic she is and the house is full of lovely little touches that make it quite unique. A fabulous place to stay if you're over this way ........

PPS Recognise this person subject of Tiree's blip last night?!
