Miss Switzerland, 1950

This is a portrait with permission. I noticed this very eccentric older lady, she must be in her 80's ! walking in the pedestrian centre of Lausanne. Her style and attitude reminded me sooo much of Karl Lagerfeld if you've seen him in interviews, you'll know what I mean. We crossed paths a little later on again as she was admiring a french Bulldogue.

I asked if I could take some snaps and she was very happy to stand model for me. She told the lady accompanying her "Would you mind taking my umbrella darling, it makes me look old"
In this picture she looks a little surprised, but in fact she was telling me how she once was Miss Switzerland. "No really, I was Miss Switzerland, in the past, but not in the recent past, but in long time ago past, 1950 or so.

She really made me laugh and I was thankful for her letting me take her pictures. Would have liked to talk longer, but, had to gat back to the the office.

On a diffferent note, my experience with the Managers of McD's.., I went there to talk with the Manager, only it was a different manager today but he knew about me and also told me I'd be getting post from McDonalds Switzerland. He then escorted me outside and was very unpleasant I asked him to keep his contenance as he was arranging the chairs outside. He wasn't listening to me so I wanted to take a pic of him, just to push his buttons a little. Well, he through the chair at me but he missed ! . Unfortunately my camera was in sleep mode and didn't release the shutter. Next time I'll get him but might not as that could be harassment . Better steer clear of there for a while.
