'Fireweed'

With apologies to Richard in particular, this is not something stunning....

This stuff, rosebay willowherb I believe, also known as fireweed, grows everywhere.... It gets its second name from being the first plant to grown over burnt areas, notably in the rubble in London and other blitzed cities. It's quite pretty, though gets very annoying in late summer as the seed heads blow everywhere! Quite nice here against the beautiful embellishments on this church.
