Curiosity...

makes this cat very happy. Since Fred is away, I took over his office space. He's created a lovely working area by the window, where Whisky can 'supervise' from above. He quite likes coming in and out of the flat via the window rather than the cat flap.

It's been work, work, work today, but it was great to look out at the sunny green leaves. At one point, there was a loud squawking and all the squirrels leapt to the top of the tallest tree. A moment later, a jay torpedoed out of the same tree with a huge cackle. I think the wood pigeons and the jay had an argument. I don't see jays that often in the garden, so I always consider spotting one as a bonus.

I came across this today and was absolutely amazed.
