At last - sunflare

Sunflare is a good problem to have. It means there is some sun about. There hasn't been much of that recently... Or not since we returned from holiday.

So the Festival season has started. We went with some friends to see Courtney Pine at the QH. I'm sure no one but me reading this will recall that we saw CP earlier this year in Dunfermline and yesterday he was nominally playing the same music. But the beauty of improvisation was that this was so so different. Not better, or worse, just different although bearing a family relationship.

Right. I'm off to buy a handheld vacuum cleaner before another concert this evening. As today's FB status update said: "domestrivia". Nuff said.
