The Baby Strikes Back

Back home and back to the busyness. Today was Toddler's last swim lesson with the group she has been going to since she was 12 weeks old or so as the course has come to an end. It was all quite sad really especially when the teacher started crying. I think it is one of the first groups she had ever had to say goodbye to. She even made cakes and goody bags for all the little swimmers.

Unluckily for the teacher she will still get to see Baby, and his moaning swimming, once term starts up again in a couple of months. Talking of whom, Baby is really starting to fight back with Toddler now and really insisting on rough housing play with her.

Today we out and about and having a play on the grass and he just kept on grabbing at her instigating a joyful wrestle. This is probably the result of the little ones having to spend all day in the car yesterday. They both found it hilarious and Toddler pretty much always got the better of him with him just giggle at her as she lay on top of him. At one point though he actually got on top of her and held her down while both laughing away.

Clearly Toddler could have got herself up but she seemed to play quite fair, but it certainly felt as though Baby was starting to find some power.

Lets just hope the fights stay playful like these ones for a little while longer.
