A time for everything

Pedaling or paddling!

Sunday
The heat and humidity didn't seem quite so oppressive today as we left church at about 10.45, so we decided we would go for a bike ride when we got home, before the heat built up any more, or rain moved in, which was forecast for later in the day. We chose a nice shady stretch of the Little Miami trail. It was a pretty popular place, and while you were moving it felt pretty good as you have the breeze going by you, but you felt it when you stopped. There were a few canoeists out on the river, as you can see in my blip, though this isn't the busiest stretch of the river, when it comes to canoe liveries - the more popular stretch is further upstream. When we got back, Roger grilled us some nice Italian style sausages, which we enjoyed with sauerkraut, and ate outside on the patio, which we hadn't done most of the week, as even by about 7pm when we usually eat, it was still too hot and muggy. The storms arrived by mid to late afternoon, and we had quite a downpour, so at least I was saved from watering the plants today!
