Hello all, just a quick back blip of the Thurgoland Dragon.

This is part of a tree sculpture which was created in 2000 for the primary school, sadly, it had been cut into two distinct pieces, i think it got damaged in the recent winds and had to be cut down from a Hand S point of view.

The Dragon and the Owl are the two emblems of the primary school, the bottom half of it (missing from this photo) is a carving of a sheep farmer,

i think it symbolises the characteristics of strength, knowledge and industry..but its a while since my daughter was at the school so i've forgotten !
