Mango Wood

Bought a new table. It's made of the wood of the mango tree. Part of the re-invention of our home life. It sits in an alcove and makes a nice home for a small vase of flowers and a candle, when no-one is using it as a laptop stand.

I love my home. It is a place full of warmth and richness and love. We're in the midst of a little dejunking project this year and replaced three large sofas with two small ones recently.

Life is all about balance. I love being out, in the countryside, in the city with the museums and the restaurants, places where there are people, places which are silent and only the light and the sounds of birds caress your senses.

But I always love to come home.
