Road Trip to Dunedin

A great contrast to yesterday's cold image, today still snow but with a warmer feel.

We headed south along the back road which was a wise move, no snow from Oxford till Oamaru where we were greeted with remains of snowpeople everywhere - looked a little sad. From Oamaru to Dunedin there were paddocks of heavy snow, the road was dry and the sun was shining with a good Nor west wind blowing - it looked so pretty.

Our descent into Dunedin was beautiful, the whole city was basking in sunshine and the sea so blue, lots of snow on the sides of the road and a bit of grit, not wise to stop and take a pic, graders were busy clearing.

A late blip as its now the next day and a shot taken from our moving car.
